The device also supports HDCP 1.4/2.2 for secure content protection and playback. The BG-COMMANDER-ULTRA provides comprehensive input/output options, including 5 HDMI inputs, 4 HDMI outputs, 2 XLR audio inputs, 1 USB-C output port, firmware upgrade port, and multiple control ports (RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet) for flexible connectivity and integration with various equipment. The unit is also equipped with a Micro SDXC card slot for local recording of the PGM output stream. For audio, it supports LPCM audio and provides analog stereo output via XLR connectors, ensuring high-quality sound management. An embedded video mixer features seamless switching with transitions such as wipe, dissolve, and DVE. For camera control, the BG-COMMANDER-ULTRA allows remote control of multiple camera settings (pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, white balance) using VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocols over IP and serial connections. The frontboard control allows users to navigate between PTZ Camera Controller and 4 Channel Switcher modes using a joystick and dedicated buttons, adjusting PTZ speeds, focus, and other camera settings directly from the unit. It also manages up to four full-view outputs and one multi-view output for comprehensive monitoring and production. The intuitive On-Screen Display (OSD) menu provides access to detailed camera settings and device information, supporting configuration for various control protocols and network settings.
