Transmission Technology
Utilizing standard Cat.5e/6 network cables, the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME extends HDMI signals up to 100 meters (330 feet) without signal degradation. The system employs a proprietary low-latency codec (<1 frame delay) for real-time video streaming, ensuring smooth playback across all connected displays.
It supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and full multicast configurations, making it a scalable solution for large AV deployments. Audio Capabilities
The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME supports uncompressed multi-channel HDMI audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and LPCM 7.1.
Additionally, the inclusion of eARC/ARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) allows for high-quality audio transmission from the display back to an AV receiver or sound system, enabling an immersive sound experience without additional cabling.
Control & Integration
This system is designed for seamless integration with AV control ecosystems. The main control interface is software-based. The inclusion of bi-directional IR and RS-232 control allows for remote device operation, making it compatible with third-party control systems.
